Mar Khabazza decides to visit with the elven winemaker, Ilyana Valric and her consort. Ilyana is in a melancholic mood and when pressed she again speaks about “the end of reality” and the destruction of Cignoria by the voidwalkers.
Rather than explain herself further she asks if the troupe would be willing to take a short trip of a few days. At this, her consort speaks angily in another tongue and storms out of the room. Ilyana looks after her departure with sadness and says, “Kenia is protective of me. I don’t think she agrees with what I am about to do. I’m about to show you what is at stake.”

She disappears into the back room and returns in a silver suit of engraved plate armor while buckling on a sword. Slinging a small pack onto her back she brings the troupe outside and has everyone clasp hands. “Hold on. This will be a strange sensation.”
The casts a spell that Ravenna recognizes as a spell of teleportation, but as the spell manifests she alters the spell slightly resulting in a tearing sensation and a sharp jolt. The resulting destination is at a stone wall that curves away in both directions into the gloom. They are standing on a flat stone floor that also extends on towards infinity.
With no explanation, she starts to walk the length of the wall clearly with a destination in mind. After several hours the group sees a warm glow on the horizon and as they approach it manifests as a massive tree growing improbably out of the stone itself, like an oasis in a stone desert. The tree is dotted with lights and singing can be heard from within.
Immediately across from the tree is a foreboding fissure rent into the wall itself.
